Easy Navigation
One of the features of Boatslip Manager Software is its easiness to train people and use on a minute by minute, season by season basis. As you can see in the opening screenshot all the categories of information and daily function buttons are front and center. No going to other screens to look for these areas. The main screens allows quick and easy access to who is in the marina, who is due to arrive at the marina and direct access to your Point of Sale program to run your store or parts department.
Custom Marina Map
Each install Boatslip Manager Software comes with the customized map of you marina. The system comes fully loaded with your map, all your rates and all the applicable taxes. Pretty well ready to go once we go live. Over seventeen years we found that the learning curve can be shortened dramatically by pre-loading marina parameters before activation date. Our customers get up and running quicker!
Transaction View
The transaction screen is the main collection point of customer information. It is here where at the guests information is accumulated and then a customer record file is also created and added to the main customer data file. The system follows the GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and this is the first step in the process. The collection of the customer's email address is very important as it allows us to email out any correspondence such as confirmation letters and statements. The reservation can be sourced by one of 5 different ways (reg. Number, last name, phone number, member number or slip number) should the customer call in and request info on his stay either past or present or future reservation.
